We are not going to rank you for “fractional CFO”.

Anyone who says they will is selling you a number they do not control. That search belongs to national firms with a decade of links behind them, and there is no honest path from a new site to the top of it.

Here is what is actually available to you, and it is better than it sounds.

The searches you can win

Narrow, specific, and mostly unclaimed.

Your metro

“fractional CFO + your city”

Far thinner than the national term, and it is where a business owner who wants someone within driving distance actually looks. One page, written properly, about the businesses in that market.

Your industry

“fractional CFO for __”

Construction, SaaS, ecommerce, law firms, nonprofits, restaurants, agencies, healthcare. These have almost no serious competition, and they bring the prospects you actually want — the ones who need someone who has seen their problem before.

The comparison searches

“fractional CFO vs controller”

Owners trying to work out what they need. Thinly covered, and the page that answers it honestly earns a call later. It doubles as something your referral partners can hand to a client.

What we will not do is build a templated page for every city on the map. Google treats that as spam, it will not rank, and it is the single most common thing sold as “local SEO”. We build pages for places where you do enough real work to fill a page worth reading.

How the work runs

Two pages a month, and a list you execute.

Each month we write and publish two new pages against the searches we agreed, refresh what already exists, and send you a short report: what moved, what did not, and what we are doing next.

Alongside it you get a to-do list for your Google listing. We never take access to it. Agencies get profiles suspended and the client wears the consequences. Nobody but you ever logs into your listing — that is a feature, not a limitation.

The site has to exist first. If we did not build it, there is a one-time foundation step before the monthly work starts, because publishing good pages onto a broken structure is money you would be lighting on fire.

What we report

What we measure: every form the site sends you, and every time someone taps your phone number on it.

What we do not claim: that this counts every call. Someone can read your number and dial it manually and we will never see it. It is a floor, not a total, and we will always describe it that way.

Your number stays your number. No tracking number swapped onto the page unless you ask for one.

Honestly

Search may not be worth it for you yet.

If your practice is a year old, your work all comes from two bankers, and your site is three pages, then a monthly search programme is the wrong thing to buy. Fix the site, get your proof in order, and spend the money on lunch with referral partners.

We will tell you that on the call, and we would rather lose the retainer than sell you eighteen months of something that was never going to move.
